This is such a wonderful site filled with so many interesting and enjoyable things .... some new things to see and read, and some that were good to experience again. Your "WebMonarch" has done a wonderful thing.

Hello Eleanor
What wonderful magic is the internet and email.
Today, I was leafing through my artist's "morgue" from the 1950s..trying to throw things out and lighten up for my 70th year, when I came across a yellowed newspaper article from the Oakland Tribune of 1969...a critique of your show in Berkeley, illustrated by two powerful drawings. A note written across the top said "I thought Ann (moi) might be interested." I no longer recall who the kind person was that left the cutting for me...but I was entranced. I have often taken the drawings and looked at them...but only now, with the internet, have I come to know more of your work and more about you.
If you don't have a copy of this article, I would be happy to send it to you.
By the way...do artists worldwide call their reference file, a "morgue" or is that just here in Ireland??
You are an inspiration. Thanks, Ann

My husband and I have 3 large works that came from the San Francisco area - acquired through his grandparents. They are lovely and I have been searching for more on the artist. I have found you!
Would love to find out more about the works we own. I can send photos???

I found some articles my mother (Lily Van Morris) had about your art work and decided to look you up on the Internet. I relayed the articles and artwork back to my mother who then gave me a 30 minute conversation about all the fun the two of you had growing up together in Knoxville. Congratulations on all your success.

Hello Elenor, my husband and I recently bought a house in Huron Village, Cambridge, MA from an older couple. The wife`s name is Pricilla ( I shall not disclose her full name). She apparently was a student of yours in 1975 and posed for you with her baby son. I very much appreciated the drawing you made for her and wondered if you had any other drawings of mothers nursing their babies. I would be very interested in obtaining one...If you would be visiting the MA state anytime in the near future, I would also be interested in posing for my own nursing mother picture. I have a 6mth old son.......Thank you very much Dianne

I opened a box the other day and found a couple of postcards from 93 & 94 of Newport Beaches and Jazz. That's how I arrived here. I'm fascinated, and can't wait to explore your work!

The serenity of Circle Park lead me to the city directories of Knoxville and the discovery of a wonderful poet, Mrs. Evelyn Van Gilder Creekmore.

After reading Day's Journey, I see a connection between your mothers wonderful perception of the world and your art and activism.
