Hi, I took a directed study from you at CCAC in 1976 and it was my favorite class, in spite of the snake that frequented the studio. I now work mostly in glass. I learned a lot from you.

Hello Eleanor
What wonderful magic is the internet and email.
Today, I was leafing through my artist’s “morgue” from the 1950s..trying to throw things out and lighten up for my 70th year, when I came across a yellowed newspaper article from the Oakland Tribune of 1969…a critique of your show in Berkeley, illustrated by two powerful drawings. A note written across the top said “I thought Ann (moi) might be interested.” I no longer recall who the kind person was that left the cutting for me…but I was entranced. I have often taken the drawings and looked at them…but only now, with the internet, have I come to know more of your work and more about you.
If you don’t have a copy of this article, I would be happy to send it to you.
By the way…do artists worldwide call their reference file, a “morgue” or is that just here in Ireland??

Recently I purchased a painting in Austin TX. It was an oil/acrylic portrait of a young black man and the tag on it indicated it the artist was ‘Dickinson’ painted in the 1950’s, and I was wondering if you were the artist. My husband and I have 3 large works that came from the San Francisco area – acquired through his grandparents. They are lovely and I have been searching for more on the artist. I have found you!
